My client is a big mining company who has a mission to create value for their shareholders, employees and their business and social partners by safely and responsibly exploring, mining and marketing their products.
Economic Development and Engagement Manager will be responsible for the implementation of small and large scale economic projects and to promote the engagement platform for these projects.

Skills/Exp:
• 5 yrs relevant experience (preferably in the mining industry)
• Relevant Tertiary qualifications in the environment, humanities or technical disciplines
• Sound knowledge of environmental and social practices requirements (legal, voluntary and industry regulations) in the mining or extractive industry
• Extraordinary passion and vision for issues related to sustainable development and the environment
• Team and delivery focused individuals who can easily adapt into different roles
• Technical knowledge of environmental and community issues in mining, resource development and exploration activities
• Competency with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
