Financial Controller

Mining exploration company seeks single or married Financial Controller for expat position.

Requirements:

• Five years commercial experience, of which three years must be in a financial management position in the mining industry;

• Experience in Africa

• B Com (Hons) Accounting degree with articles;

• Excellent interpersonal skills; and


Duties and responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for the finance function, including, but not limited to the following:

• Financial accounting;

• Statutory reporting;

• Management / project reporting;

• Cash flow management;

• Tax compliance;

• Budgeting and forecasting;

• The internal control system

• The information management system.

• Procurement

• Overseeing the Human Resources function; and

• General administration, i.e. contracts.
