Mill General Foreman Location: Finland Salary: 50 000 EURO per annum gross Our Client is currently seeking a Mill General Foreman who will be responsible for monitoring the plant operations. This is a Supervisory role within a mineral processing plant. Skills / Edu / Exp A must • Strong experience in Supervisory role within a mineral processing plant (milling flotation) and appropriate education • A solid understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale, continuous operating mineral processing plants is needed • Advantageous - speak Finnish or Swedish • Good verbal and written communication skills Duties • Ensure that Safety protocols and Operating Procedures are followed • Oversee daily operations of the processing plant • Ensure that manning levels, structure and resources are suited to the expected deliverables • Coordinate process team, to ensure consistent plant utilization and metallurgical performance as well as shift-to-shift continuity, while promoting a safe work environment • Ensure main KPI’s such as throughput, recovery and product quality are communicated to all operating staff • Ensure production schedules contain appropriate planned maintenance periods and provide support to Maintenance Department in execution of their tasks • Develop personnel to promote skill improvement at all levels and drive for operational excellence Strictly only Scandinavians / Russians or Europeans can apply for this position
