Renewable Energy Advisor

My client is a big mining company who has a mission to create value for their shareholders, employees and their business and social partners by safely and responsibly exploring, mining and marketing their products.
The Renewable Energy Advisor will be responsible for the design and optimisation of operating processes and systems to reduce reliance on natural resources services and management of hydro-geological and other key issues like renewable energy and climate impacts.

Skills/Exp:
• 5 yrs relevant experience (preferably in the mining industry)
• Relevant Tertiary qualifications in the environment, humanities or technical disciplines
• Sound knowledge of environmental and social practices requirements (legal, voluntary and industry regulations) in the mining or extractive industry
• Extraordinary passion and vision for issues related to sustainable development and the environment
• Team and delivery focused individuals who can easily adapt into different roles
• Technical knowledge of environmental and community issues in mining, resource development and exploration activities
• Competency with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
